Nissan and Datsun Automotive Heraldry

The Japanese have Mons, which are similar to heraldry in that they are a system of hereditary graphic symbols. However, I did discover a couple of interesting heraldic like badges. The first this emblem of a ‘D’ within a shield shape on the front of a B-210. The second is this badge from a F-10.

I suspect that there are other heraldic-like emblems on some of the fancier Nissans and Datsuns, but these are hard to find around my part of the world!
