
Both
[Fox] and [Manwaring] show the Rolls Royce
logo on a shield and various heraldic trappings, and both sources indicate the
information in these books were supplied by and/or with the permission of the
manufacture. There are few makes of
automobiles more associated with English nobility than Rolls Royce, and it is
unlikely that they would allow their logo to be so displayed unless they had
obtained proper permission to do so.
